U13 friendly’s vs Somerset & Dorset Sunday 7th Dec
U13 Girls with coach Chole, started with small sided games vs Somerset in a high scoring game. for us. They then played 11 aside vs Dorset and Somerset combined team. They drew 3-3 coming back from 2-0 down and won a penalty shoot out 3-1. This was the first 11 aside game for many and all progressed during the games and played well as a team.
U13 Boys played an 11 aside game against a Somerset U14 Development team including some year 9 boys . Many Devon boys were from year 7 and 8 and after a difficult first quarter, running with the ball. They had much of the play after coach Lucas insisted on them playing a passing game and did well . A tough penalty shoot out ended in ‘sudden death’ 3-4 against Devon

Weekend Matches 30th November
Lost 4- 3 to Dorset having sportingly lent them players who were influential in two goals!
Lost 7-2 to a very strong Cornwall squad who won the league last season .
Great development of the U14 players who stepped up to U15 games. Plenty of takeaways for the next few training sessions.
U15 Girls
Girls lost narrowly 1-0 to Dorset and 4 -0 to a strong Cornwall side again a squad who won most matches last season.

We had four Teams in action U14 boys and girls playing at Blundell’s Tiverton and the U17 boys playing at Stoke Damerel Community College and girls at Yeovil Recreation Centre.

V Dorset drew 2-2 then unfortunately lost on a penalty shoot out 4-3
