Important –
I understand there is some confusion with regards to the new U14 11 a side league and festivals.
Firstly, the 11 a side league is something we have facilitated so that U14 players have an opportunity to play full pitch hockey. Something that was requested.
For those clubs who CAN’T facilitate that, we still have the 7 a side festivals to allow all clubs to play some format of hockey at U14 age.
We are NOT expecting you to play both the 11 a side league AND the 7 a side festivals. That’s why there are clashes.
I hope this makes sense. The new U14 league is a great opportunity for those clubs that can provide a full team to play 11 a side hockey.
